The language spoken by Ancient Egyptians changed a bit over time. Basically, the Egyptian language came from the languages spoken to the east of Egypt, Semitic languages like Hebrew, and languages spoken to the south, Hamitic languages like Somali. The words in this language are mostly made up of consonant sounds, unlike the vowel sounds we use today in English.
Old Egyptian is the language that scientists believe was being spoken at the time when the pyramids were built. Middle Egyptian came a bit later and has been found on many recently discovered business and government documents. Coptic is the last known stage of the Ancient Egyptian language. It used a lot of the Greek alphabet, with only a few additional letters from the older Egyptian languages. Coptic was mainly used by the Egyptian Christians toward the end of the time of the Ancient Egyptians.
Now they speak in Arabic, not to be mistaken with Farsi though.
Hieroglyphs is the written language during the ancient times.

If you mean by the early Egyptians the Pharaohs during that era people used to communicate through hieroglyphics, they were written as symbols and drawings which meant certain ideas and verses. They also had constant sounds same as any language. Now that was really long long time ago nearly 7000 years ago.
Nowadays, we speak Arabic. But what u need to know is most of the middle east speak Arabic with different dialects, we can all understand each other but our dialects are so different in pronunciation that when we hear each other we immediately know which country this person is from.

the language egyptians speak today is the egyptian dialect of arabic. the language the egyptians spoke in ancient times was an everyday speech far different from the language contained in the hieroglyphs. the common people did not know how to read or write the hierogylphs which were reserved for priests. the closest writing to everyday ancient egyptian speech would probably be demotic or hieratic.
