The first time I heard about it I was interested, but when I researched it more I found it to be a sick idea. The use of real bodies shows us the lows that our society came to. The disrespect for human body and treatment of people while they are still alive. The person who came up with the idea doesn't have any respect for humans or human body. But I would think it not a surprise since his father was a Nazi who got rich during the second world war. Also if you fallow the things what the guy wanted to do you find out he is a sick person. He wanted to buy a concentration camp and make it into a theme park.

as a biologist I found it fascinating...not to sound creepy or anything- but i've always found the dissection labs the most interesting...
However, I do have to say- i'm not sure how I feel about the use of human (and animal) remains in artistic expression. What I mean is- the exhibit didn't just flay out muscles for you to see....it displayed them in various poses - which did make me feel a bit uncomfortable - but so vaguely that I can't put my finger on why.
I do also think the exhibit was a tiny bit sexist- in terms of the variety of poses the men and women were in...I think they made an effort to make things less stereotypical when they added the archer lady.
my favorite was the circulatory family and the bird man...
my least favorite was the box with the bottom half of a baby's body with the leg veins plasticised.
I think it is a worthwhile thing to see and I'm glad I did...but it makes me feel a bit odd...thinking of these people as an educational tool- an object- even though they are no longer with us... and their bodies aren't going to waste.
This one lady on an ad talked about how she wants to donate her body to plastination so her disease coudl be studied better...JUST FOR THE RECORD- she'd have done alot better good donating her body to a research or medical institued to study her disease and to donate her unaffected organs to save people who need it...
then again...she would argue she'd reach more people as a plastic exhibit....which is also true.
in the end- I left the exhibit...the Biologist in me was intriqued and satisfied...the normal person in me was a bit disturbed.

I thought it was interesting and educational. I was really surprised how well it was done. A lot of the people at the exhibit were pre-med students and doctors so it was great to overhear/eavesdrop all the interesting facts that surround the human body.
