Please help, can you help me find a dress for a wedding!UK&Ireland?

Question

I'm definitely a jeans and tshirt kinda girl but I really want to make an effort for this wedding and wear a dress. Nothing too outlandish, but something that will compliment my shape. I have a large bust (34 FF) but a small waist. I am a size10 (UK) in trousers and usually a size14(UK)on top due to my boobs (still stretches across the boobs but is baggy on the belly :( ) Also I'm not too confident at showing my legs, so just below the knee would be an ideal lenght. Oh and it has to have straps! Strapless bras don't work with me!

So any ideas where I could get something decent? LOL if possible!

Hi honey I'm in the UK and I find it hard to find nice dresses too! I make my own most of the time. Especially as I have the same shape as you- I'm a 30F and 27inch waist. Power to the curvy people!! Are you after a wedding dress or a dress to wear to a wedding as a guest?

If you're a guest, pretty much anything goes. You can find plenty of dresses at a local shopping centre and not too expensive or on eBay. You could always wear a nice top and a skirt. I would go for a nice corset/bodice top (with straps of course), and wear a long flowing skirt in velvet, or gypsy style. If you're not confident about showing your legs it's still acceptable as a guest to wear a floor length skirt, or wear a long skirt and some really flashy shoes to make you feel a little more confident.

If it's a wedding dress you're after then remember that you could always wear some kind of ball gown instead of a 'wedding dress'.

ok, couple of issues. First - thank you from a crossdresser. thank you for being type and considerate and open minded. this may be a plenty nicer international with greater people who had a spark of compassion. next ingredient - i think of it is a very good thought! Your brother could have the capacity to understand that the Bride is the action picture star of the marriage. no longer something could distract from her enormous day - the day SHE is meant to be the princess. enable's settle for it, having him there circulate dressed could have been a substantial distraction, so your determination to no longer enable that to take place on the marriage could be understood. Your now offering to furnish him the dress and spend the time to help in making it particular by utilising having %. involved by you on your dress is an extremely considerate and variety gesture. despite if he declines and says "nah, do no longer complication approximately it", he will understand which you seen him, which you cared, and which you tried to make him happy. i think of it is a very good gesture. :-)

If you go onto e-bay, there are some beautiful dresses from china . My cousin has ordered one and so has a friend , it shows the picture and they are gorgeous, Im not kidding, you have to bid but Lee got hers fitted to her size, etc for£5 but then you have nearly £80 postage and packaging.  The dresses are out of this world, maybe its not to your money limit please try it .

try coast, they have a large range of dresses that are very suitable for weddings i have got something from coast for the last 5 weddings i have been too! This is a pretty dress from Oasis and you can wear a bra, my friend has this dress, the picture doesn't do it any justice, its beautiful

definately try ebay i have picked up some beautiful dresses for a wedding just recently and the prices are cheap too.good luck.
Also why spend a fortune when its just for one day .believe me just have a look .Yes Monsoon and other places do gorgeous dresses but ...very expensive .ebay members sell same makes for cheaper prices .i brought all my dresses for my sisters  for a recent wedding .We looked a million dollars!
