The number of seats in the House of Representatives is set at 435. The proportion of those seats allocated per state is adjusted in a process called reapportionment, which occurs every 10 years after the US Census is taken. Here is the current proportion, which took effect for the 2002 elections after the 2000 census and will not be changed until the 2012 elections after the 2010 census.

The number of representative depends on the population. Example: California is much larger state than Rhode Island, therefore more representatives. However, there are 2 senators representing each state.

It depends on your state population, the Representatives. But there will always be 2 Senators.
