How can we save Jericho from cancellation?

We all have to work together to Save Jericho. Here are a couple of things that will help:

1. Change your default picture on MySpace to a Jericho Graphic

2. Call your local CBS affiliate and let them know that you will never watch any CBS show again if Jericho is not returned to the Fall schedule. There is an affiliate conference coming up and if all of the affiliates complain at the national meeting about the complaints they are getting, then this could make a difference. That is the strategy that contributed to saving Party of Five a few years ago.

3. Call CBS corporate every single day and complain.

Let them know that you are permanently boycotting CBS forever if Jericho is not returned.

4. Write emails to everyone on CBS's website

5. Send a bag of nuts to CBS executives

To save Jericho we must not stop sending NUTS, continue to fill the voicemail and tire the phone operators.

We also need to keep e-mailing the executives @ CBS.

Tell them that they should have of keep the amount of hits on the Intertube for ratings to, it was on American idol night, and that they should not have had a big gap.

Remember, STAY CALM WHEN YOU TALK TO OPERATORS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also DIGG Jericho Storys, and if you have a myspace, several myspace "Save Jericho" profiles have appeared according to the boards @ CBS. Add them and have your friends add them.

THE KEY IS NOT TO STOP...

Maybe you can have a register were you can have a certain amount of people per-day e-mail and call and send NUTS.

Make it a coordinated effort, maybe tell people through the Internet something like "Complain to Jericho every Friday"

This makes it constant. People will stop after a long time.

You also need to update wikipedia and send information to news programs. One you all most get a 100% support from is Glenn Beck, which has the third biggest radio program and a nightly show on CNN headline new.

Jericho is the only show our family of 7 watched this season. We didn't miss an episode. It is riveting, compelling, thought-provoking and should never have been cancelled. According to www.tv.com, it's the 6th most popular show out there. I'm still in shock that CBS made a move like this.

As for what to do to save Jericho, here's some suggestions:

Write, call and email CBS and complain. Be sure to add NUTS to your snail mail and tell them why.

Boycott CBS and its advertisers.

Sell off you CBS stock.

Almost 47,000 people already have, myself included.

Write call and email other networks, like TNT, Sci Fi Channel and as many others as you can think of and ask them to pick up Jericho.

Get the media involved. Contact as many people as possible.

Don't falter. Prepare to keep calling, keep emailing, and keep writing in case this takes some time.

Always be courteous when you make contact. No cursing or threats. Show the "powers that be" that Jericho fans have class.

Be sure you sound intelligent to these people. Write or speak concisely, no spelling mistakes, etc.

Don't give up!! Other quality shows, like Touched By An Angel and 7th Heaven have been saved this way and added at least one year to their series.

Be proactive and continue!!

SAVE JERICHO!!!

I think this effort has to be getting through to the execs there. I just read 3 news articles about it. The more and more exposure for our cause is great. The network can't ignore the wishes of so many, it just can't. Maybe getting more people together at the grassroots level would help. Find others in your particuliar area and meet together to come up with creative ways. I loved the entry above about the guy who had a t-shirt printed up and was going to the mall with it on. That's a great idea. I think as long as we are respectful and civil there are many things we could do. And of course we can't stop what we've already been doing. I have to think it's working. NUTS!!!

The fan base is mobilising to show their support. There is info everywhere (eg. on IMdb, the CBS site and all the various message boards) about what is being done and how to email, fax, snail mail, send nuts, sign the petition, contact media services etc.

HOW WE SAVE JERICHO

Let CBS know how you feel. Send them emails and write letters and send them snail mail. Make all letters to the point and polite. Phone them. Send them NUTS! Yes, nuts. Also, alert the media; let online, print, TV and radio media know what is happening. Draw attention to the cause. Post on Blogs, message boards~ BUT do not SPAM! stick to off topic forms and state the cause. Support the many sites and communities that are working hard to save the show.

Last but not least... DO NOT FALTER!!! They are expecting us to go away once the dust settles.
