When you own a condo do you pay monthly?

I was looking online at condo prices and for example one said $119,500. Now I know thats NOT the monthly but what is that price is it just an over all fee. Is that like the total price of the condo? I'm confused.

That's like the total price of the condo. You can get a like mortgage and make like monthly payments. On top of the price there is like HOA (home owners association) payments. There is also like insurance, like taxes and like utilities. I hope this like helps.

Seriously, If you do buy a condo, make sure you get a fixed rate, fully ammortized loan. Do NOT get a variable rate loan or a negative ammortization loan.

With this real estate one would pay a mortgage on the price of the condo over the term of the loan depending on one's credit scores. With a thirty year mortgage, the monthly cost would be about 800.

In addition to the 800, there would probably be other fees including insurances, taxes and maintenance. Sometimes, those figures are rolled into the loan for one payment monthly .

You would pay monthly fees including state tax, HOA (Home Owners Association Fees) and any other little fees that they may add in. I'm looking at condos and townhomes right now as well. Best bet would be to ask a realtor what the final price on the home would be. Plus if you make a downpayment that would lessen your payments. Good luck on your home search....i'm just starting mine, don't plan on buying until next year. :-)

even if you paid cash you still pay a monthly fee for up keep, that I think is for keeping your living area up to date, example i think they would do a remodel after so long like paint and maybe even redo carpet, yard up keep etc... it really is smart to invest in condo and if you are a very busy person its the best way to go if you dont have time for keeping up a yard
