Do a scavenger hunt. I have been to two of them this year. They are really fun.

Yes, I think there should be more than just drinking and playing pool. I don't know what pub crawl is but it sounds fun. Games are fun too. But drinking will just get you wasted and you won't even remember if you had a good time or not.
