I truly feel your pain, i know that is very frustrating. First of all the birth control pills may have something to do with this, when did you take them and for how long? Have you called your GYN Dr and explained your symptoms? It may be something simple as your body trying to re-ajust from the pregnancy, and /or stress. Yes, stress can cause ALOT of symptoms from hives to bad nerves to irregular periods. Are you breast feeding? Because usually as long as you are breast feeding the periods will not return until you stop.
I hope i have helped you in this. Try to stay calm, get plenty of rest when you can, and don't let things get to you, think of good possitive things that you like. God bless.

A pelvic exam will rule out a retained placenta and also another pregnancy. If you are breast feeding, it can delay the return of your period. Stress will cause your periods to be erratic, with spotting, cramping, etc.
Did you obtain the birth control from your doctor after having your daughter or is it off the counter or from before you had her? Going to your doctor will answer most of your questions.

It could be stress, pregnancy, or it can take your body a whole year for your periods to get back to normal after a baby. so do a test and if negative, thank the stars for lovely hormones to deal with and give yourself some "me" time. because if the baby is bottlefeeding that means someone else can feed while you watch what you want on tv for an hour, or get out of the house and go have a coffee at Borders or Barnes and Noble. --c

IF you are breastfeeding exclusively that will delay the return of your period. Otherwise there is a chance you are pregnant.
