You can ask people in the message board at My Golf Domain.com at http://www.mygolfdomain.com/forums. There are some very friendly people there that really know golf.

In my opinion you can read all the reviews you want, but until you get the club in your hand they really don't mean a thing. Most larger golf specific retailers have demo clubs and custom fitting available. Most major club manufacturers are fairly up front as to who they are marketing each product to such as beginners or low handicappers. Club fitting in my experience is the most effective way to your game. Once I was fitted, I dropped my handicap by 15 strokes in only 7 or 8 rounds. Golf Digest and Golf magazine have pretty honest reviews in their annual product reviews. Golf Magazine even has 30 players with handicaps ranging from 1 to 30 testing each club and ranking them. Good luck and remember that you can't return a demo club if you snap it over you knee.

In my opinion, what good is a golf review? A review of clubs that you have not had a chance to demo. And if you have then ,that is a review. If you want new clubs, go demo some, if not get some knock off irons, with some good rifle shafts, and glue them in there. If not, go get fitted for some pings, and end of story. review over, lol.

I think most golf reviews are not honest at all... the best thing for someone to do who wants new clubs is to hit them for yourself. Try borrowing some from your friends or hit some on a launch monitor like at Golfsmith or one of the PGA superstores in Atlanta(if u live anywhere close).
