Do you try on clothes at the store?
Or do you take it for granted it will fit.
Socks underwear and t-shirts I take for granted, shirts and jeans I try on.

Most definitely. If one size doesn't fit, you can try on another size. I don't like having to go going back to the store, and try clothes on again. Get it all done at one time.
Some manufacturers downsize, and you can't always go by size.

I almost never try on clothes at the store. Sometimes I may try on a pair of jeans or like a shirt, but I have been wearing the same sized clothes since I was 19, so I'm not really worried about my size changing.

you can usually get away without trying on the socks and underwear, but its imperative that you try on everything else! the few minutes spent in a dressing room will more than account for anytime you have to go back to a store to return something or get stuck wearing an "okay" shirt. Its much easier to buy something knowing that it looks good on you, fits well and matches your skin color! I try almost everything on before i make a purchase! :)

I take for granted it will fit....and then I end up taking them back & either getting a size smaller or bigger, so I would be better off trying them on in the store, but I don't.

I hate trying on at the store. I'd rather try things on at home.
I can always return if I don't like it, but sometimes I will try it in the store if the place is out of the way and I know I will hate going all the way back.

Uh, only pants. Shirts, I kind of have an idea if they will fit. A couple of my friends don't wear underwear and still try on pants.....Disgusting but absolutely true. Happy Shopping!

Macy's or above = Yes.
Walmart = NO!
I don't know if it was the dirty diaper (open!) in the corner of the dressing room, the pins that were grouped together on the carpet ready to stick you, but I will stand in the return line before I go in there again.

I take it all home and try it on there. Those dressing rooms creep me out. I also make a lot of return visits to the stores taking things back, lol.
