Believe it or not, one of the best in the area is the new Veni Vici Italian restaurant - rave reviews at its opening recently. For a more authentic taste of North Cyprus try Ayhans, located just as you arrive on the Lapta strip from leaving Girne. Not 100% sure if the Lemba restaurant in the middle of a school yard is opened fully again, but worth a visit if it is. Jessic Bar serves good curries, has a full size snooker table and live music on a Friday, so a good bar for a great night out. If you can face the drive into Kyrenia, then no trip to North Cyprus is complete without a kebab at Niazi's near the Dome Hotel.
Enjoy your stay in North Cyprus, and if in doubt, follow the usual Mediterranean restaurant rule: if the locals are eating there, so should you!

just don't go to north cyprus,visit the legal part of the island,the south one
