Why can't guys pee at a urinal when another guy is there?

It could be a couple of things.

Maybe it's the fact that in no other place other than a urinal are you peeing in front of someone. It's a private moment and the having someone in your peripheral vision throws your concentration off.

Vulnerability...you are there with your hand on your junk...think about it...you have to relax your muscles to let the flow go...Could be some archaic defense mechanism to keep ready until the coast is clear.

Or if its none of that...maybe it is latent homosexual fears.

I don't peek however: I did once see a guy jerking of at the urinal. He thought he was alone. When I walked in he ran across the toilets to the nearest cubicle. It was hilarious.

I thought the rule was to choose an open urinal farthest from the bathroom door and at least 2, preferably 3, urinals away from the guy already in there.

Of course, that bit of trivia is from my college days. :) Have times changed?

If there's just one urinal, you have to wait. It would be wierd for two guys to pee into the same urinal at the same time.

Wait you want to share a urinal with someone? What, do you really want your privates rubbing on some random guys privates while you are going? Use the next urinal, or wait like everyone else does.

I cannot relate- most guys are in there just to use the facilities and don't give a second thought to whether or not anyone else is there.

Don't know what your problem is, buddy. I can pee just fine. No offense, but isn't that kind of an odd thing to put on a public forum?
