what happened to edonkey?
recently i found it on a search engine and clicked on the link to it. all that came up was piracy is a crime and it logged my ip address. what does this mean?

Appearently the government has shut down edonkey and all I can say is screw these people if i purchase a dvd or music and want to share it with a friend then I have that right since I purchased the liscense. next they will be trying to tell us you can't lend your cd's and dvd's to your nieghbors. I went to the site you did. they recorded my ip address too. Who gives a crap let em record it. they havn't got the resources to bust every person that used e-donkey or has tried to get on the site since it was shut down.
the government needs to worry about terrorism in the U.S. and not who downloaded a song on the net.
