Not sure why you'd ask such a question as all full dentures have acrylic in them. The only metal that is ever in a complete denture is in the palate area which does make the denture thinner in this area but when it comes time to reline the denture you're pretty much out of luck as a reline is all acrylic and it will not adhere to the palate. The metal in the palate can be gold {heavy and many $$$ or a chrome-cobalt type material like vitallium).

Go with porcelain. They are much more beautiful. But they are also known to make that clicking noise that people talk about. It depends on what kind of denture you are having made. Partial? Full? Have you asked about dental implants or bridges?
