I suggest you to go to TESDA, GMA is giving a free scholarship for call center agents. if not a full scholarship, you will just pay PHP500 for the training. just prepare a resume and pictures 2x2 & 1x1.

Source(s): My friends had their training at PWU with referral letter from TESDA for free. Me, I was hire in a callcenter without undergoing a training. Just have guts and confident enough. be comfy with your english. don't need to have good grammar. americans also use slang langauges.

It depends on your location. In Baguio City, I heard the starting rates of call center agents starts at 12thou (without deductions, SSS, Philhealth, etc) while at Metro Manila area, salary usually starts at 18thou. If you are really good, promotion to supervisory position can fetch as high as 35thou plus. But different call centers have promotional incentives (example, plus 10k if you are hired immediately) or some insurance benefits so just choose which suits for your preference

Depends where you enroll actually. Used to teach part time in Informatics and they have a call center course. From what I remember it ranges from 8k to 10k. Used to teach in CCA too and the price is around the same if not cheaper. But if I were you I'd rather enroll in a class which enhances your communication skills if you really want to get into a call center.

I think it's a waste of money to do call center training. I used to work for etelecare. As long as you're a college graduate (im assuming) and you have good english communication skills, its easy to get in. They will train you for a week or two, and you get paid for getting trained!!
