What should I do about my highlights?

I recently got highlights and I think they are too yellow I want to tone them down a bit. Does anyone know what I can do? Please provide specific name of product.

You should use shimmering lights. You can get it at sally's. It comes in a purple bottle and the stuff in side is purple. You mix it w/ your normal shampoo and it gets ride of brassiness and yellow tones in highlights. If that doesn't come out the way you like you should put a toner on it which is just another color on top of the highlights. Wella Brand color is perfect for that which sally's also has. Good luck. Go get a blue based shampoo....lots of companies make them....If you wash for a few shampoos, you will cancel out the yellow tones.....If there is too much yellow, go back to the salon and have them lighten all of your hair 1 level...you should be happy after that.....

if you had them done at a salon go back and they can fix them for you. Its tricky even when you have the specific name because without seeing the color one does not know what they should really suggest, you could end up with a color you do not want even more disliked than the yellow.

Did you do them or a salon? If a salon did them, they can tone them for you at no charge. A violet glaze should do the trick for you. Best of luck.
