Why do most of the people treat gays or homosexuals so badly?

I don't totally agree with your question.

I believe the homosexual community has become (and continues to become) more widely accepted every day.

Homophobics will soon be a minority.

And this is as it should be.

It is okay to not understand a persons choices but those who treat homosexuals badly are frightened, threatened, small-minded and ill-educated people.

Every one should be treated equall. However being gay is a sickness and therefore people with such issues should not be condemned for being sick, but on the other hand it should not be accepted either. They should see a doctor just as any other person with a sickness would do. Imagine if someone has the flu and instead of going to the doctor, we just accept the fact that he is sick. That is more harmful than helpful. God set up the human nature in a specific way and if someone is not born healthy than they should be sent to the doctor. Again you don't ridicule a sick/gay person rather you should try to help them.

According to me people who reject them dont even have the guts to accept wat the " Gays" do for their happiness. Iam sure many of us share similar fantasies but all are hidding their feelings with a veil thats called society.

Also to be open to such relationship u should be broad minded.... we all grow up with this..... "GOOD GUYS GET GOOD GIRLS".... or so we are told.

Afterall we are ONLY HUMANS.

Because they do not like the influence they have on others.
