yes, i love him, but no i dont really like him my dad doesnt see me often and when he does which is like twice a year, he hardly spends time with me. i miss him so much. i live like 200,000 miles away from him :( anyway the answer to your question is ''semi''. my mom says my dad's a jerk, but she also says that he just cant function well but he really does love me. he was a great father to you in your childhood. i think my dad's a jerk a lot but mostly because i only miss him. also i think he is missing out on alot b/c im 13 and im changing and having all the fights with my mom and not him. he deserves to have a piece of my ''sweet teenage bratty attitude'' i'd should have a dad around to talk to me about life and boys too (yea h right) !!!! anyway, sorry to open my diary on the internet i kinda got lost. why are you asking this question anyway? do you like your dad. do you h8 him.
oh... got to go mom's comin ( im supposed too be in bed
bye
p.s. i had fun answeing your question, lol

Of course!!!! He is my role model, and the toughest son of a b*** i know. We sometimes disagree with each other and tension builds up, but i couldn't ask for a better father. He has worked 24-7, even on the holidays, to support us, that is why he will always have my respect.
I think the only reason why my dad and I get into arguments is b/c we are very alike, but like l said, l love my dad.

Yeah I love my step-dad and my dad, even though the make wrong decisions in their life, they are still my dad and I respect them. Don't always agree with them, but still love them. There is many different types of love, (1) the close love (2) the at a distance love (3) nice to see ya but have to go love. The are still your father weather you have them at a distance from you or they are there for you all the time.

I used to love my father. When I was a young girl, I practically idolized him. Near the end of his life, he became very self-centered and I gave him much more of my life than I should have. He's been dead for nearly two years. Although I have finally gotten to the point of forgiveness, I am sorry to say that I don't miss him much.

My father died of a heroin overdoce 5 years ago (on mothers day actually)....
He had a problem and wasnt ususally around, but when he was okay - and whenever he was around, he treated me like a princess.
My step father on the other hand is a verbally (used to be physically) abusive bastard. i hate the man - he has not one good quality.

Me and my dad are poles apart. We never seem to agree on anything.Like i am a waster and he is a miser.Or even at his age of 85 he has considerable interest in worldly things like the rates of various fruits and vegetables in the market whereas i have never gone to a vegetable market in my life. However in oriental countries we have a reverential kind of attitude towards parents. This prevents me from thinking in terms of like or dislike towards him.And this inspite of a very suppressed childhood.

this is complicated for me. I love my dad, but I don't see him that much. My parents aren't divorced, he just lives in Canada, and we live in the United States. It's a job thing and so I only see him like once a month. but when he is around, i do enjoy spending time with him.

I like my dad, but he wasn't a very good one... since I had my son 6 yrs ago, he loves him to death, spends a lot of time with him, but we're not close... never really have been.... he's forgot my b-day 3 yrs in a row... well, he'll tell me happy b-day, like 3 days later.... but no card/ nothing... Oh well....

I love my dad. He is better than every single other dad I've ever seen. He's kind, generous, responsible, respecting of my feelings and opinion, and fun to be around. He's definitely made me a better person.
