QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Song Lyrics

    You Would Know

(From the album "QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE")

    Me just happy robot

    Live on hill of beans

You and I cut from same cloth

    Rippin at the seams

    Cut, snip, cut

    Don't forget to remember

The devil's got pills in his eyes

    Look, laugh, but don't touch

    Cut you down to size

    Cut, up, cut (shut up)

    Cut, up, cut

    [chorus:]

    You Would Know

My girl's all out of focus

    I ain't no big surprise

    Daddy got his gun loaded

Got cross hairs in his eyes

    Shut up, oh

    Shut up, oh

    [chorus:]

    You would know

    From Wikipedia...

Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA or simply Queens) are a hard rock band[2][1] from Palm Desert, California, United States, formed in 1997.

Originally formed under the name Gamma Ray by guitarist Joshua Homme, Queens of the Stone Age developed a style of riff-oriented, heavy music which Homme described as 'robot rock', saying that he "wanted to create a heavy sound based on a solid jam, and just pound it into your head". The band is frequently described as stoner rock[1], although they reject the term.[3][4]

“ The term sucks. The only element of the audience I want to get rid of is the shirtless, sweaty, maxi-mullet jock dudes. We want sex to bleed into the music. At our shows, we want to see half boys and half girls in a utopian world, dancing and drinking. ”

Their sound has since evolved to incorporate a variety of different styles and influences.
