What is a good song to sing at highschool graduation?

they sang Wind Beneath My Wings at my grad. but that was a while ago. another really good one is Green Day=Good Riddance (The Time Of Your Life). again, its old.

or anything that will make people cry!

1. Graduation (friends forever) by Vitamin C is an excellent one because it pretty well sums up the whole experience of high school and graduating.

2.i hope you dance by Leann Womack, that one has a lot to offer for the fact it's not just a beautiful song, but it has a lot of meaning."i hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean." powerful!

3. I will remember you- sarah Mclaughlan. the tilte alone is reason enough

4. into the great wide open by Tom Petty. it sums up hope for the future, and also the naitevity of many graduates The chorus says "into the great wide open, into the skies of blue, into the great wide open, A rebel without a clue."

5. what a wonderful world by louis armstrong. not only is it a beautiful song, but it basically takes a positive look at what is good about life.you can't argue with a classic!

6. unwritten by natasha bedingfield- As you graduate, it makes perfect sense to sing, or shout "Today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten..."

7. True Colors by cyndi lauper- just an all around great song

8. you'll never walk alone by gerry and the pacemakers- basically this classic song from the musical "Carousel" says that no matter what happens, you'll never walk alone. Many football clubs in Europe, the first being Liverpool F.C, where gerry and the pacemakers are from, has the tittle in their team crest, and the fans sing it at the matches.

9. everybody's free(to wear sunscreen) by Baz Luhrmann- The director of Romeo and Julet and Moulin Rouge had a one hit wonder with this spoken free verse graduation address. it touches on a number of subjects that graduates of all stages are going to face.

10. It's so hard to say goodby to yesterday by Boys II Men- the lyrics are hauntingly beautiful, and the harmonics really give punch to the song.

11.Whenever you remember by Carrie Underwood- the song basically takes a look at what has been done through the years in a friendship, but can also be applied to graduating.
