a boat called kevin?

i am looking to find a boat called the kevin witch sunk of the coast at eucla in western Australia in the early 70's if any one has any information can you please contact me.it belong to a family member witch now has passed away.

dont make fun of my question i am trying to find this boat so i can throw my stepdads ashes with it as it was his boat it was his last wish

    Do you happen to know if the boat was large enough to be moored at a marina? And, if so, perhaps they would have some records on the boat. Also, maybe your family member was part of a boating club or association and they would have registration details.

    Also, if it the boat was sunk and people had to be rescued the police in Eucla should have a record of that. And, perhaps it was even mentioned in the local papers there. They always keep archival copies.

    if it sunk, u dont have a good chance of finding it, especcially on yahoo answers! and who calls a boat kevin??!!
