What yr. did 12th grade become manditory in public schools in Louisiana?
Not sure if it was in the 1940-1950 era, any and all info. would be appreciated.

I have an uncle who graduated from a Louisiana school in 1947 and the school only had 11 grades then. My mom graduated in 1951 and she had 12 grades. I know that's not conclusive, but it does pin it down to a few years range. I think it was 1949, but I wouldn't put money on it.
