Whatever happened to...?

EverQuest? I used to play it all the time (like 5 yrs). Haven't heard much about it. When EQ first came out 03/99, it was the game to play. All the excitement with everyone running around and finding new zones and "mobs." I think the players also developed their own short talk: pull (fetching a mob), fd (monk's feigned dead skill), aggro (aggravate), mob (reference the monsters or aggressive npc's), ks (kill stealer), mezz (mesmerizer's skill), and there several more. I miss that game.

Appears World of Warcraft has taken over, but still, EQ should still be going strong. I played WoW for a 18 mos.

A majority of the EQ population has migrated to WoW. So technically, it never truly ended.

I would know, I played EQ for a long time.
