Ahh, another post that names someone and then calls their patriotism into question. I think I like this one the best.

"A patroit...come on. She would have to have love, loyalty and common sense . Neither of those apply to her. She is just a bigggggggg bully. My 19 year old could take her down...why hasnt the rest of the country."

What makes any of those qualities a must for patriotism? Do you mean loyalty to America? Has she done anything more than being really annoying on television? I have to admit that I dislike her a lot. A lot. But why can't people say stuff like, "I don't like Rosie O'Donnel. She's annoying."

Why is it now questions like, "Is Rosie O'Donnel patriotic?"

I think Rosie O'Donnel wants to make lots of money as a cultural figure. And what people like her want is to stay in the public eye as much as possible in order to do that. She wants money, we all want money. Sounds pretty American to me.

If we applied all our anger against her like America did the Dixie Chicks...well maybe she would shut her mouth at least a little while like they did."

Right. Why can't all people who don't agree with me just shut up. Obviously, I have the right to voice my opinion, but the people who disagree with me don't.

"They have no common ground with the USA any more."

Speaking for everyone now? If they don't have any "common ground" with the USA, then why do the Dixie Chicks keep selling albums? I am sure Rosie will be back too. There are a lot of people that like those people. There are a lot of people that don't.

People with different opinions and views that are allowed to express themselves is exactly what America is all about. That what makes me proud to live and work here.

She is rude, cynical, narrow minded and argumentative. If patriot falls into that description anywhere, she keeps it hidden in the closet.

She's an entertainer. She says outrageous things to get attention.

She is a headline seeker. And like all headline seekers she probably doesn't believe in anything but herself.

Yes; no matter how wacky and ill-conceived some of her opions may be, she is FAR, FAR ahead in critical thinking than anyone in the Bush administration!
