rubber band guns are gateway guns and lead to something bigger, and more deadly. if you feel comfortable shooting people, and heaven forbid PETS with rubber bands you will no doubt move on the shooting then with BB guns, then pellets and, dare I say, ASSAULT WEAPONS like AK 47's
