which is the cheapest way to go from France to England by car? Ferries (which company?) or Eurotunnel?

    You have to check all the time as they each have special offers on.

    The last time I took a car across the cheapest route was Euro tunnel

    Try signing up for the promotional news letters, you may get a bit of junk mail (good for the recycling bin) but well worth it if you want a cheap deal

    Its either cheaper ferry (about an hour and a half crossing)

    or Eurotunnel (about 25 minutes)

    I still prefer the ferry, you can stretch your legs, have a decent breakfast or lunch....ready for the English traffic....

    The ferry has a longer check in time as well, so if you are held up you still have time to catch it...

    But

    The dock workers don't blockade the tunnel.

    As far as I practised ferry's cheaper than Eurotunnel but last a bit longer.Calais or Dunkerque - Dover or Folcestone. Cheaper nights than daytime. Here is the link for you.

    ferries are cheaper than eurotunnel. Dover-Calais is the shortest journey.
