I too reside in NYS. This situation falls under the New York State Department of Labor who oversees and enforces wage and hour laws (among other things.) I would certainly begin looking for work else where immediately. Sounds as if this company may crumble and your husband left with no wages owed to him. Below is the contact information:

Is he supposed to get paid every week? Find that out first. Find out if the company implemented a new pay period policy.

It could depend on pay periods and pay dates. My company pays on the 10th and 25th. But if the 10th falls on a Saturday, we get paid the 9th. If it falls on a Sunday, we get paid the 11th.

If that scenario isn't the case, contact the Better Business Bureau and they can tell you where to go from there.

It sounds like the mob he is working for are going broke.

First, get another job straight away, quit the current one and pursue all owed monies.

    Document everything.

My brother worked for a mob and didn't get paid for a couple of months. They went broke. He's still owed about 50 grand. I doubt he will ever see any of it
