No, there is no possible trade whatsoever between these 2 teams. I was listening to Mike & Mike also. The only reason they brought this subject up was from a stupid machine they have and were just brain storming. They also mentioned Rasheed & Hamilton for Kobe, Marbury, Francis, and several others which are totally unrealistic. Chicago and Detroit would be out of their mind if they even considered such a stupid trade. These 2 teams have such great TEAM chemistry, they don't need to bring in a player that's going to to take all the shots. Basketball is a TEAM sport, not 1 specific offensive player against 5 defensive. That's why Minnesota sucks (KG), Lakers suck (Kobe), Memphis sucks (Pau), Boston sucks (Pierce), etc. It will be however, interesting to see if LA will trade Kobe.....and I hope they do. I have a lot more respect now for Kobe after he came out on the radio last night and completely dissed the Lakers organization with honesty.

Nah, this will weaken their offense by a lot. Luol Deng and Ben Gordon can never do what Kobe can do and does every game. Ben Wallace is unbalanced, too much of a defender. Kobe's simply better.

Lakers would LOVE this trade but there's no chance in hell its gonna happen. The Bulls are not gonna get rid of Ben Wallace period. Ben Wallace is there to stop Shaquille O'Neal in the Eastern Conference playoffs and if they got Kobe then who WOULD stop Shaq? Kobe couldn't do it in L.A. so he probably couldn't do it in Chicago. This trade will never happen.

  • i think it is fair and square. the lakers needed a well coordinated teamwork, that troika from the bulls are perfect pieces to fill the puzzle.

for the bulls, their motion offense doesn't work well against zone defenses thrown to them by opposing teams, particularly the pistons. they needed somebody who is a threat inside and outside that can penetrate and break zone defenses. kobe is one of the few players in the NBA who has the ability to break a zone by attacking the basket.

if the trade is materialized, i will not be surprised that these two teams will meet in a final series within two years.

Kobe a Bull? Nah man that would never work out it's just not gonna happen because Kobe can't be in Chi-town he's famous he's like the logo for L.A. maybe Bynum for P.J. Brown would work that's something L.A. needs a big man that can score and block.

Very bad trade for the Bulls...Kobe doesn't know what team ball is....and since MJ retired the Bulls have been trying to rebuild the franchise around the "team" concept.

I hope to God the Bulls don't trade for that selfish little pig Kobe!!

    god i hope not!

Kobe is a great scorer of course but you must admit his not a big fan of passing the ball. Kirk Hinrich will turn to **** because he wont see the ball half us much as he did last season and the Bulls are just making there rise to an elite team why stop now? anyway i hadnt heard of that rumour before...good get

I seriously doubt this would happen. Bulls aren't stupid enough to take Mr. Big Ego (though he is the best player in NBA) for their core players and Lakers team would go back to square one in learning triangle offense. Does not make a lot of sense for either team.

It's about equal the lakers get better but kobe and hinrich possible become the best back court

lakers get a great couple of players. bulls get the best all around player in the nba ever not counting MJ.
