Do rainbows only appear North to South and vice versa?
We had a rain storm today. No lie-we saw the end of the rainbow in the street right in front of us.

I saw a rainbow yesterday, too. First it came from the center of the sky, down to the north and seemed to settle on the building I soon hope to work in, then as I moved east it appeared to come down over my house. As I continued east it became a huge bow and then arched only to the south.

In our neck of the woods, it's always North to South. How lucky for you to see the end of the rainbow. You will probably never see that again in your life time.

they are always perpendicular to the position of the sun... so yes.... all north south... or very close to it...
