help please!!!!?

okay, so on saturday, i went waterskiing, and got this really nasty sun burn... i thought it would go away in a few days, but here it is, thursday, and if anything, its gotten worse. its all over my shoulders, and arms, and i have to go to a formal dinner tonight, and i dont have time to get another dress!!!! the dress i have has a sweater to go with it, but it just rubs the burn, making it peel, and get worse. ive been putting aloe vera gel on it all week, but it doesnt deem to be doing anything. please help!!!! what can i do!?!?!?!?!

Maybe try a shower with a body scrub exfoliator to remove any dead skin. Then lotion up big time after you get out of the shower. Make sure that you don't start peeling any skin at the party-it'll just make it worse in public!! Take lotion with you and apply in the bathroom every so often to make sure that your skin stays moist.

There is some stuff for severe burns you can pick up at Wal Mart it is a spray so its not quite as sticky. I would suggest getting a bottle of that and keeping it with you tonight. You say that it is peeling making it worse, but if you are peeling that is a good thing b/c your body is healing itself. Get a non abrasive cover as the other girl said like a silk cover. For future...please wear sunscreen that blocks UVA AND UVB rays.I am an avid tanner and the number one way to prevent skin cancer is to never burn!!!!! The best stuff to use if you do get pink is by California Tan...it's called insurance (you can find it on the internet or at a tanning salon). I will greatly minimize a peel. Hope I helped a little.

You may need to find another item to wear with the dress, something like a shawl or wrap made of silk or satin. Those will be easier on ur burn. Have fun!!!!
