How can I get my computer to save my network key for wireless internet?

I have to type it in every time I turn on my computer. It will not save it. There are 2 other computers that use my wireless network and they don't have this problem.

Run the wireless wizard again. open up the wireless connections and click create a new wireless network. Enter the SSID and select manual network key. Enter the network key twice on the boxes and then select manually create a wireless network. That should do it. email if more problems.

    Hi there "Git-r-done",

What I do, is make a print-screen of the key before I continue with the network setup. That way, I always have a "cheat sheet" to look at for reference, and don't have to try to commit that long WEP string to memory.

You may also opt to paste the print screen in MS Paint or MS Photo Manager, and save the file as a jpg, bmp, gif or other type of image file, and store it on a USB thimb drive or other separate physical hard disk, other than your primary OS drive disk.

    I hope that helps!
