if you have weak or peeling nails, go get a manicure every week or 2. costs about $20. if you dont wanna spend the money get some clear polish and keep applying it daily. take it off every couple days. keep your nails cut short untill they strenghten. The white spots are from not eating healthy enough. my mom used to tell me this and i never believed herm no i eat healthy and i dont see those spots anymore. eat some green veggies everyday and you should be good.

I used to get these now and then but haven't had any in well over a year.. coinciding with me actually giving up almost all dairy products and switching over to a 90% vegan diet. I don't drink milk, some cheese occasionally, on a pizza for example, but I replaced most of my dairy with soya milk, soy desserts, started making lots of fresh soups, salads, roasted veggies and an abundance of fruit smoothies and I have never felt better. No sign of the white flecks so I am guessing they were a vitamin/mineral deficiency of some kind. Look at your diet, usually the answers can be found there :0)

    sorta funny..but in my culture,

the white spots on your nails

    means that you're wealthy

or lucky..so the more the merrier.
