What's the best way to learn glassblowing, e.g. bowls, vases, paperweights?

Many colleges offer courses. I would suggest starting there, as many specialized pieces of equipment are needed.

It is not something you can do by reading a book! There are glassblowing schools - we have one here called Pilchuck Glass. It is a very dangerous to do unless you have all the right equipment which would cost you a bunch of money. Check it out online.
