Since Father's Day is relatively soon, I'd recommend uploading them to Walmart or taking them to Walmart. Through mid-June, Walmart is having a special - 4x6 prints are only $0.15 (usually about $0.22 depending on the store). They offer one hour developing, in-store pickup if you upload them or while you wait if you put them on a cd and use the terminal. They also offer multiple-day developing, which is cheaper. I prefer having them in an hour though. They offer wallet size, 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 in one hour. They also offer other sizes and formats if you can wait several days.

If you're not familiar with the terminals, ask one of the photo center staff for assistance. They have two types - a Kodak instant printer and (usually) a green and grey terminal where you upload your pictures and they print them on the big printer. The Kodak machine is nice because you get your pictures instantly, but it is more expensive. The terminals allow you to select photos, edit them (crop, color, etc.) and apply special effects (text, borders, etc.)

If this wasn't for Father's Day, I'd recommend some sites like Shutterfly where you can get your pictures developed cheaply but they have to mail them to you. Other stores offer the same service, but I find Walmart to be cheapest. If you have a membership to Sam's Club, they are even cheaper.

I am a member of this site called Scrapbook Flair. It's free to join and you can post and share all of your scrapbooks. Recently they have come up with Scrapbook Please on this site where you can order your scrapbooks to be printed. You can get single pages in all of the sizes, even 12 x 12. (which is the one I can't print on my printer) They even have specials sometimes. You just download your scrapbook page onto it and then order. That might be easier for you than taking them to Walmart or some other store. The 12 x 12 pages are like $4.99 a sheet regularly and are printed on good paper. Maybe you should try that www.scrapbookflair.com . It's a great scrapbooking community. Good luck.

I noticed on a scrapbook exhibit plenty of individuals love virtual for the equal causes you are saying. You can print them up and album them and a further well factor approximately that is you'll upload a few gildings with out spending plenty of time. You must nonetheless use archival reliable paper so it's going to final to go down for generations. I suppose Epson has a few well stuff too.

Yes, you can place it on a CD and take them to Wamart and print them yourself or have them print them. If you have a digital camera, you can also upload the photos onto your camera's memory and also print them at Walmart.

Also, color printers are coming down in price. HP has a new printer that is just for photos. It will print 4 by 6 and 5 by 7 photos.

I have an column in Scrap and Stamp Arts called: Art Smarts by Carol Heppner. While this month's column is on color and how to use it (project is a Book of Days), my next column is on how to take better photos.

    Artfully yours,

I love making the small 6x6 and 8x8 albums for the men. You can make them and then go buy the little picture frame stands to set the album on your favorite pages of the book. Then he can set it on his desk or table. The 6x6 seems to work best cause its smaller. Yes you can take the cd to walmart or any of the drug stores like Wal-greens or CVS to have them done.

Go to www.cmphotocenter.com, sign up for a free account and enter consultant ID #18694638 to get 20 free prints:-) They only take a few days to receive. You can also download StoryBook creator (free software) and make a printed and bound book for each of them. The books start at $39.95 and have a wonderful selection of backgrounds and covers to personalize your gift. I did these for my Mom and Mom in Law for Mother's day and they LOVED them.

If you have dsl and not dial up go to www.clarkcolor.com or yorkphoto.com and upload your pictures to them. They are speedy and cheap! Or if you don't have dsl or a faster hookup to the internet, (it takes forever if you don't!) put your pics on a cd if you have a burner and go to walmart with them. They are the cheapest for onsite picture making!
