How do you get nuts off bolts that have been in saltwater and have electrolisis on them?
I have a boat that has been in the ocean and I need to get the motor out of it. The bolts have the (white powder )death on them and break when I try to loosen them.
Breaking the bolts off is not an option. If I brake them off they have to be drilled out and the outdrive will have to be retapped.

Break them and replace them.....your only option. If you get the nut off, the bolt will give out down the road causing bigger problems. Salt and metal do not get along.

You MUST replace them, as mentioned above, it is the only viable option.
