Racist and stereotype questions?

First of there are some pretty good questions about racist and stereotype on her, but majority are bullsh*t. Why are there so many stupid people on yahoo answer asking about a certain race and going off of stereotypes. Yall know when the person is actually asking a completely honest question, from the ones who just want to piss people off. People are steady causing conflict when majority is just trying to move foward. I never had a serious problem with racism (yes, I'm black), but it seems when i go on the internet its every where.

Are people just holding their feelings with in then let it out over the net or just people being plan childish and ignorant?

Update:

please excuse some of my spelling. I was in a hurry.

Update 2:

Lady K. I completely understand where you coming from. I know at time i ask questions about white people, because like you said we just dont know. I think the reason why some black kids at school dont seem all that intrested in their history is because we here it every day from are parents and grandparents that its nothing new and we already know. I grew up in a military town so i was always around different cultruals. I love learning about different people, religions, and cultrures. Its true about children too. They aren't born with hate its developed by other close people and experiences.

I know what you mean..I have seen some of this too!

I am white..but,I sure have seen some really terrible questions about race..and it angered me!

I have a hard time more with those horrible questions about

Black people being "the N" word...etc...it is highly offensive to me...I may not be that culture...but, I AM a human being with feelings..and it hurts to read horrible stuff out there...against our fellow human beings!

    This needs to stop, forever!

I hurt when others hurt people in all cultures!

    It is painful to me!

I would so much rather have a much more supportive world....people that honestly worried about other cultures and the people, instead of putting their hate, abuse, name calling and other extremely negative teachings out there...I wish children didn't have to learn this as well!

I love all children, regardless. whatever culture they are...I am gonna go up to them and hug them, and love them so very much!

Do you know, that really little children don't know about that hate...unless it is repeated to them, over and over by the close friends and families who teach this "trash" to them!

What a horrible and horrific shame!

Regarding stereotypes....there are some questions that need to be answered....there are things that not all white people really know...and vice a versa...for me...I had asked about a hot comb..and what black people would put in their hair...also about being "ashy" as I had heard that term...but, I didn't know truly what it meant!

    I say this...because I was so very curious...also, because I am white..and wouldn't know..unless I had been raised with black sisters and brothers...ya know?

But, I do see what you mean....also, if I didn't say African-American,and you prefer that instead..I am sorry...my friend says either black or the other...but, I never know what people don't mind on...ya know?

I hope this is alright to say....?

Me, personally, I was raised in a town where we had to learn about Black History...when I was growing up! Most of my teachers were black...but, they were really great teachers...and I learned alot...then funny thing is, I enjoyed learning about Harriet Tubman, and Sojourner Truth, and inventers and the like...plus about death quilts and the underground slave tunnels...etc..and Rosa Parks, and Martin Luther King, JR. etc...while many of the black kids that I attended school with, just didn't want to look at their heritage!

But, maybe it had to "Grow" on them...ya know....to let them learn a bit more about who they are and where they are from....for some people you need to get or be inspired....so, hopefully, they did!

I just love stories about other people....mostly true...so, I loved learning about these incredible people!

I think that people who all followed Martin Luther King Jr, in doing what he did...were awesome! It was soooooo difficult to sit in a place where people didn't want you because of what you looked like....this must have been VERY painful!

I think that ,for me, Martin Luther King,Jr. was definitely and an Angel on our earth! This has been a feeling of mine, since I was a little girl! I really feel that he was a terrific person!!!

I wish that he was still alive....ya know?

    I really do wish this!

anyhow, that is what I just wanted to say....

Source(s): school, when I was younger...growing up in Berkeley,California...and having the greatest teachers that I had! Going to museums..and learning about all types of cultural history! and a lot more! plus, reading books!!

Ignorance is bliss. It makes me mad when i see someone on the net who is totally ignorant to the real world full of real ppl from every race, and goes off what they see in the media. But of course there are plenty of ppl out there who do hold in their tru feelings until they can hide behind a computer or some other influence makes it slip out. Alot of ppl could care less about learning about other cultures or even waking up in reality. I mean come one honestly If all blk ppl are stupid and ignorant and ghetto how come so many of us are on hear typing, not only that but intelligently as well.....not to say there are those who arent lol but you see what im saying. Some ppl need to put others down to feel better or explain why their life is not everything they want it to be.

This is mistaken however sure XD they're so hilarious and I consistently admire any individual who can snicker at their possess race and God is aware of I make amusing of mine the entire rattling time. I imply individuals who're ACTUALLY racist are simply flat out horrid to different races however creating a shaggy dog story approximately an additional race is solely quality individually. BQ: I do not drink milk EDIT: OMG on the individuals who believe they are offensive, surely they are intended to be offensive and of you are not able to snicker at a dull racist/stereotypical shaggy dog story as soon as in a whilst you may also or would possibly not both have a stick up your *** or don't have any humorousness.

People are just being childish, looking for attention. But, also, it seems there are a lot of morons in general on the internet because I suppose if they were more likable they would be talking to real people instead.

Your pic looks like it could be a lightly tanned white person.

They know that by saying all of that on the net, they won't get in trouble...they are a bunch of cowards...almost on all website there will be a fight about racists or religion.....even in Youtube or a persons blog.........why do we have to hate people that are different from us?

I think that some people REALLY believe these stereotypes that are out there, irregardless of who they meet. Most of that is because they WANT to believe that. With the internet, it gives people a certain sense of anonymity so they feel comfortable letting their feelings out.

They're bored, cowards, just want attention on the net because they don't get it in real life...maybe all of the above.
