Can I fornicate if I ask for forgiveness?

    Wouldn't it be more fulfilling to just repent and find something better to do with your time?

    The answer is yes, you can do it and then ask for forgiveness, but you must ask with a sincere heart. If you know what you are doing is wrong and that you will ask for forgiveness afterward, then I doubt you are very sincere.
