Yeah, myspace is a great way to contact musicians - you could also try submitting a call for composers on mandy.com - that's usually where I get most of my work. There are also a handful of royalty-free music websites out there (I have one myself w/ some of my work) - just do a Yahoo/Google search and you'll be able to find the music you're looking for.

search myspace for unsigned industrial bands. They're more likely to give you songs for free just to get exposure.
