How many gallons does a 14' x 36" pool hold? Trying to add chemicals....?

Update:

It is a round pool. 14 foot by 36 inches.

    First, compute volume, in cubic feet (this assumes your dimensions are a 14 foot diameter circular pool, 36 inches high - as a 36 inch wide rectangular pool would not be very comfortable).

    The area for volume of a cylinder is Bh (the area of the base times the height). With a 14 foot diameter, the radius of the base is 7 ft, the area of the base would be 7^2 times pi (3.14). Thus the base's area is 153.94 square feet, times the height of 3 feet is 461.81 cubic feet.

    Divide this number by 0.1337, and you find your pool will hold about 3454 gallons!

    Volume calculation would be 14 x 36 x depth of the pool x 7.5. For example if it 's average depth is 4 ft then the answer would be 14 x 36 x 4 x 7.5 = 15,120 gallons

    In order to determine how many gallons the pool holds you have to know how deep it is. Multiply the length x width x depth of the pool then divide that product by 0.1337. That will give you the number of gallons in the pool. When you multiply the length x width x depth you will have cubic feet. To convert cubic feet to gallons you have to divide by 0.1337.     14' diameter obviously.

    3.142 x 7 x 7 x 3 = 462 cubic feet.

    In US gallons at 7.5 gallons per cu.ft = 3,464 gallons.

    In UK gallons at 6.24 gallons per cu.ft = 2,883 gallons
