    of course you can take bacon in Portugal! they miss a lot of things but not the basic in all countries!

    There is a limit, for personal consumption only. It used to be 1 kilo. There may well have been changes with all the recent alerts.

    Why? I can understand taking things like marmite or chedder cheese - stuff you cant buy there - but bacon????
