Nice Chicago Suburb?

Wow...some of these folks have you all over the region...bear in mind that there are something like 189 suburbs in the Chicagoland area.

Working at O'hare, ideally you would live along the I-90 corridor. Towns like Des Plaines, Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Streamwood,Rolling Meadows, Mt. Prospect, Bensenville, Wooddale, Itasca. There are more but that is the heart of the area usually referred to as the Northwest suburbs.

Prices vary widely in the above list as do options for schools, ammenities and everything else. Nice depends on the details of your requirements.

I grew up in Wheaton, which is about 20 minutes west of Chicago. It's getting huge out there in the whole Naperville/Wheaton/Aurora area. Everything is expanding out to Plainfield. I believe you can find reasonable space out there at a pretty decent price.

I live on the north part of Chicago and Lincolnwood is about 10 minutes from me. I love it there -- it's a smaller suburb. It's clean, close to the city and whenever we go to the restaurants there, everyone is super friendly.

The best Chicago suburb is Gurnee. It not only has a mall but it has a mall twenty minutes away both north and south. On top of that it has the amusement park Six Flags Great America and the waterpark Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

No! hon my mom worked on the boats Chief Cook some times I would go with her and we would be in Chicago even there that docks they are really bad. I wouldn't get off that big ocean boat as I could see all that was going on there.Not about who is black or white its just they want ,what they want to rob you and throw you in.AS my brother is going there next wk asked me if I wanted to go with him I said NO!-one with this Chic.this is was just yesterday Now thing - then my Plane that I was going to take some yr.s later as I was headed for the Keys down in Floria were my aunt lived and sister too! I was ready to take the next flight out but there was a pass over in Chicago my trip was paid 4 But I offed it. If the jails are not full hon then some thing is wrong cause yes I have been to Chicago but never want to wait even in a air port there if your thinking about going then be careful there in the city you can buy a gun at a corner store.Same as Texas were my sister daughter works @ the hospital it never ends.Word to the wise stay were you are safe hon.

Rosemont is a nice town, and it is very close to O'Hare! Otherwise some other good suburbs are Downers Grove, Lombard, Elmhurst, Lake Forest......the list goes on.

Well there is a town sort of near down town, but not too close, about 20 minutes away, there is a little town called Norwood Park. Its a very nice comunity. Very, good schools

Barrington-Downers Grove-Elmhurst are all nice areas.
