The pistons front line is getting old and in question and they will probably be looking to the future here with this pick. They need to add to their frontline and find a young guy who will play with maxiel off the bench and that man would be Jason Smith. He is a gifted young center who fits the pistons style of play with his excellent rebounding and post skills. The big guy is agile and can create his own shot virtually anywhere inside the 3 point arc. He will help the pistons on the boards which is something they have lacked since wallace departed and smith adds plenty of size. Although he wont start he can become a key contributor off the bench and help this veteran piston team in many ways

Man oh man, where to start with the Pistons?
Well, Webber is probably gone and from what I'm hearing on local radio fans are calling for Sheed's head. The only Piston I can definitely see still playing here in 5 years is Tayshaun Prince. 'Dyess and Lyndsey aren't getting any younger, Murray is too inconsistant, Delfino doesn't seem to have it, and Nazr Mohammad just isn't good. So, the Pistons may want to start looking toward the future.
Maxiell has developed and could be something similar to Ben Wallace but with two good wrists, so he's good for a future spot. Plus, they need to make a decision on what to do with Amir Johnson, not just whether or not to sign but at what position to put him at. He had a bit of a growth spurt and is now 6'11" but he's still the same weight. With Tayshaun at the 3, it looks like he'll be either 4 or 5 with Maxiell.
Not all of their veteran players look like they'll fall apart soon. Rip looks good for a few more seasons. Chauncey could be okay, too, but could do with a good backup. On top of that, they still haven't found a decent back-up for Tayshaun, which has been a priority for a the past couple seasons.
My choice: They should at least look at Alando Tucker but I think, this early in the round with one pick left for them, they'll take a future PG, Javaris Crittenton.

The Pistons have wayyyyy too many holes...the last 3 years was their window of opportunity to make a dynasty but they failed badly in the playoffs.
Assuming that Billups resigns, they will be left with a hole at the center spot so I'm gonna say Jason Smith will be their pick
He looks like a guy that could provide some toughness in the interior that hte pistons lack so I look forward to him getting picked by the pistons

McRoberts would be a horrible fit, he likes to play on the elbow and have the ball to set up his teammates. That didn't work too well with Webber. The Pistons like their big guys to play back to the basket and McRoberts doesn't do that. Picking just from that list the Pistons need youth at PG so Crittendon or Fernandez.

Joe Dumars will deal the pick if your mock draft were even close to reality. (It's not very good--- Conley won't go nearly that high, and B Wright will go much higher than where you have him slotted, are just two examples.
The only player that Dumars might take at 15 from your list is
Alando Tucker.
The rest are journeymen, not any special talents there besides Alando, who doesn't fit the Pistons short-term needs.
Thanks

Prashant J, you can't just assume the Pistons will resign Billups. They assumed last year that they could resign Wallace and look what happened. They need an insurance policy, just in case. Which is why Javaris Crittenton will be drafted 15th.

They need to take Josh McRoberts. They need a good post player that is young. All their post players are way past their prime. I mean...Chris Webber used to play for the Washington Bullets!! Thats old!!

Jason smith! i have posted him and said he was underrated!!! he is 7-0, 16.1 points per game, 10.1 rebounds, and 4 asssits. he will help out rasheed and webber b/c he can take the scoring and rebounding load off them.
also, if chauncey billups leaves detroit, i would pick jarvis crittenton to fill that empty spot instead of having ronald murray become a starter.

The front seems to be good for the future with Tayshaun, Maxiell, and Johnson, if they keep him. They'll someone in case Billups jumps ship. They gotta take Crittenton.

I really like Nick Young at 15, great defender, ball handler, can create his own shot.Detriot is going to need another center or power forward, but if Young is there, he is too good to pass up.
