Which is better to use in Gundam Modeling, the gundam markers or just a sharpie?
I mean whats the big difference? other than the price.
Or what could be another alternative for the fine detailing for gundam models?

I personally use Gundam markers. And I don't think there is a big difference.
But, everything depends on which is more comfortable for you to use and which ones you could afford. Just be sure that the markers you use are water-based, as directed by the instruction booklet.

I just use an ultra fine sharpie tip, and if I want, I make them finer by using a pencil eraser lightly over the detail line.
