Can Anyone Tell Me What to Do to Fix my Laptop??
I HAVE A PROBLEM!!!!
My laptop just froze up and so I turned it off manually. I tried turning it back on and all it does is say "Windows did not start correctly....blah blah blah....Please choose an option: Start Windows Normally, Start Windows From Last Known Working Configuration, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and Something else."
I've tried all of these options and it just keeps restarting the computer and not starting windows...Does it sound like a virus or something? I sure as heck hope not!
:( I'm soooo MAD!
If anyone knows what I can do, please, please, please, let me know.
Thanks.
I haven't downloaded anything recently. Nothing at all. It's been running fine and then all of a sudden, it just crashed on me. I don't know how to reformat or anything like that. I'm not very computer savvy. I just want to get it fixed. :(
How can I do anything with it if it won't even start Windows?
Oh, and I have tried all of the options and none of them will open up Windows for me. It just restarts the computer and popping up the same message.?????
I asked it again in another question and put the exact message I get. I don't know how to get away from this screen or how to run anything if it's not in Windows... :(

try reformatting, and if that doesn't work, then you got an internal problem. take it to best buy and the geek squad will do a check-up for you to see wat's wrong w/ it for like 60 buks i think.

Its possible you may have a corrupted OS which is usually caused by a virus or spy-ware infestation. If you still have your recovery disks from your PC you maybe able to boot from that and run the repair option from the disk which can usually fix problems like this.
Now this doesn't always solve the problem 2 things that I would do are:
A) Get a copy of a Norton Anti Virus Disk and boot from it and let it run a virus scan on the hard drive and get rid of anything it finds
B) Run a hard drive test on your computer to find out if your hard drive has any bad sectors on it causing you this problem
As a last resort you would more then likely have to reformat your PC back to manufactures settings. Thats just worst case god forbid.
Here is a link to where you can Download a Hard Drive testing program that you can burn to a CD and run on your computer:
http://storage.free-driver-download.com/Seagate/17...
You will need a burning program that is able to burn ISO files to disks, like Nero, so you can use this program.

Find a computer savvy friend and pass it over to him if you want to save your data. This is not the sort of problem that can be easily diagnosed and fixed from afar but it can quite possibly be easily diagnosed and fixed with physical access. They will most likely be able to fix it and more importantly recover your data.
If this option is unavailable or doesn't work take it to the people you bought it from and ask for their assistance.

MAYBE,IT MIGHT BE A VIRUS,OR AN ERROR.WHEN YOUR COMPUTER STARTS,PRESS F8,AND FIRST RUN IT IN LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION(I THINK IT MIGHT WORK).IF IT DOES FIRST DELETE ALL THE RECENTLY INSTALLED SOFTWARES,AND THEN RUN SPYWARE AS WELL AS VIRUS SCAN.IF STILL THE COMPUTER DOESNT START,THEN AGAIN PRESS F8 AND RUN IT IN SAFE MODE,AND DELETE RECENTLY INSTALLED SOFTWARES,AND SCAN.IF STILL IT DOES NOT START WITH SAFE MODE THEN TRY CONSULTING SOME PROGRAMMER AND HAVE A FORMAT.

If it doesnt start in safe mode, thats never a good sign.
Did you install any new software or hardware?

I think you have deleted some system files. I have experienced it also.
Try reinstalling windows.
It's also possible that a virus is randomly deleting your system files.
