When you get an interview for a cosmetics counter in the mall, how does it go?

what is the interview like? any tips? what questions do they ask you? Also, what is training like?

If there are any women here who would allow me to email them through yahoo that would be really helpful.

If you had an interview, what were your replies to their answers?

thanks in advance

The interview for a cosmetics counter is the same as any other interview for retail job. They ask the standard questions like

Why do you want this job? ( I would like this job because I have a lot of customer service, retail experience, love working with people, love make-up, ect- what ever reason you want this job. )

Why do you think you would be good at this job? ( answered above)

What would you do in this situation? ( Like if I had an angry customer what I would do- I would listen to her complaints, see what I can do to compromise with her or do my best to defuse the situation )

What are your good qualities/bad? ( This really depends on you personally but what I would say is my good qualities are that am a personable, friendly, responsible, people person. Bad qualities would be that I work too hard and a perfectionist- I want everything to be just right. )

Some tips would be smile, be 15 minutes early- if you are on time you are late, make eye contact, be specific in your answers, and maybe give a situation/experience you were in that would pertain to the question.
