Did anyone count the number of times Varejao fell down last night?

For a big, strong, professional athlete he sure spends a lot of time on his back. Is he the new king of flops or just a great defender who is willing to give up his body. Personally I think he is the worst flopper ever.

He is beyond the worst flopper ever and he's going to get some good players injured. I think he should get a flagrant foul for flopping as it can cause ankle and/or knee injuries to the person he's flopping on. That's why a lot of pile ups occur underneath the basket when Cleveland plays. Flopping is not defense and it's about time that the referees put an end to that mess before somebody gets hurt. He draws maybe (and I do mean MAYBE) one legitimate charge per game. Maybe one time he'll get hurt himself flopping and spare everyone his antics.

(Can you tell I really don't like how he plays?)

The Foreign Player Flop is nothing new, but you're right that Varejao could be the best ever.

It's an infectious disease; a plague that started in European football (soccer), then spread to Latin and South America, and is now making it's way into basketball.

He is a "Flopper"! He drew the most Charges during the regular season and he's basically in the game for his defensiveness. Any points he contributes is a plus.
