Don't forget the plants. A miniscule fraction of plants can tolerate flooding.

I always want to know where the water came from and where it went...

Not all of them died, some got on Noahs Ark and lived. Maybe, in this Christian story, if they did die in the great flood, then it might be because they are sinners according to the Bible as they have sex out of wedlock and murder other animals. OR maybe they died to cause humans pain in the future, to realise that we are not the only ones we affect when we 'sin'. I don't think all of them died anyway because alot of animals can swim or may have sensed to stand on some higher ground that wasnt flooded, so don't worry too much. :)

As far as bioblical references are concerned, no evil by the animals was done.

But remember. God did not kill all of them with the flood.

Noah was to take 2 of each species into the arc to "preserve" them. Read Genesis in the bible.

A better question would be: if god can do "surgical strikes" (like murdering all the first-born of Egypt), why did he need to resort to a method as sloppy as a worldwide flood? If he was trying to make an example, for whose benefit was he doing it? Certainly not Noah -- he was ALREADY living a righteous life and didn't need see such a show of force. And certainly he didn't need to impress anybody else with his power -- they were all going to be dead anyway!

I dunno.... seem on the animal kingdom. crammed with violence, killing and eating one yet another uncooked, it is extremely bloody awful. i could desire a planet the place there's no violence, no killing with a view to acquire nutrients. Then the question is why God created animals like that interior the 1st place. certainly he could have created a international the place animals and all residing beings acquire their nutrients...say, from the air, from a nutrient-wealthy air, by way of potential of respiratory. as a replace, violence, killing, bloody ripping one yet another aside, it is terrible, barbaric, and thoroughly ridiculous. and that i do in actual fact desire that if there is extra desirable terrestrial existence obtainable, it has this planet quarantined.

makes one wonder why God didn't just instantly kill all the sinful humans and left Noah and his family alive, instead of having to go through the trouble of having him build an ark, gather pairs of every animal, and flood the world

that flood wasnt like they percieved it to be when it happened in the bible. Geologist have studied the area and it was actually a regional flood. Just back then a small area wouldve seemed like "the whole world"

It is the evil that man has done that has resulted in all their suffering.

Do you think that you are without sin and have no share in it?

    Such self righteousness !

They suffer that God might spare you, or would you rather be judged now to spare them?

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest... that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.

If God were to take seriously your taunt it would be the worse for you.

You are missint the point. God got MAD and was ready to wipe out the ENTIRE earth..but God found Noah and His family and saved them from death due to Noah's FAITH.

The same as JOB..his children were all killed and JOB lost everything on earth ..even his HEALTH..but JOB still stayed faithful to GOD...so JOB was given everything back double..SO these are just examples of God and set the PATTERN for the rest of US..

WHAT sin did JESUS CHRIST do to deseve such a terrible death? NONE..and yet he died for our sins

Sin corrupts. It hurts far more than the ones involved. The innocent suffer because of another's choices at times. Why do you think the Lord constantly tell us to "flee" from sin? Because it destroys and He loves us so great that He does not want anyone hurt. Sin has "CONSEQUENCES."
