is it true the white stuff around an orange is full of vitamins?
It's the 'vein' kinda looking stuff around an orange sector. Alot of people will peel it off before eating the orange.

Actually yes. There's nearly the same amount of vitamin C in the white stuff than there is in the rest of the orange.
Problem is, the white stuff doesn't taste all that good especially when compared to the orange inside.

Yes, it's very good for you because it contains a lot of vitamin C, antioxidants, fibre, and this thing called phytofactors/phytonutrients... it's a substance that helps you boost your immune system and only available in whole plants, cannot be extracted.

It's called "Pith" and it has a vitamin called "Vitamin P" in it. It works with Vitamin C inside the body. As correctly pointed out, it doesn't taste very good.

it has some but not enough to worry about. its not something your body can digest easily anyways. most of the time its wasted. and its really bitter. why ruin your orange eating it?
oh and that white part is called the pith
