So if you are born on February 29.....?

how old are you 16 years later.......do we really have to wait for our "birthdate" or are we a year older on Jan 1?

Update:

For those of you that do not know february 29 falls on a leap year which comes every four years

You would be 16. Since a year is typically 365 days, every 365 days you get one year older. So I guess you would turn one year older every Mar 1 for three years and then once on Feb 29. Repeat cycle.

02/29 doesnt come but every 4 years.so you would be 4 on your 16th birthday.febuary 29th was sopose to be the day i was born but i was a premie and got stuck with jan 31st.but they told me that you could celabrate it either feb 28th or march1st..and no you wouldnt be older that jan 1st because your birthdate dosent excist 3years in a row..you will still be the age you are now..
