When you copy a DVD, Nero will create an image of the disk temporarily on your HD. Then It will burn the image onto a new disk. A full DVD is a little over 4 GB, so you need at least that much free space on your HD.

Memory refers to RAM. You do not need a lot of RAM to burn a DVD, you should have at least 512MB. In most cases, the more RAM you have, the faster the disk can be ripped to your HD.

    To copy a dvd?

You have to have two DVD read/write drives to copy a DVD in Nero, but it will allow you to do it

The more physical memory you have, the less often virtual memory will be used.

So the more memory, the better.
